Behaving responsibly is about more than keeping your own business in order – it extends up and down the supply chain. We understand that our customers need us to follow environmental and safety best practices, and that reinforces our commitment to regulatory compliance. Customers can be confident that the products we finish for them will meet all applicable guidelines, standards, and practices.
For LMC, complying with regulations isn't an additional burden or afterthought. Rather, it's integral to how we work and helps us maintain focus on improving key performance indicators (KPIs), such as safety, on-time delivery, first pass yield, and product process testing.
To ensure our compliance, we've implemented policies and procedures that give us visibility into and control over every aspect of our operations. We've made sure to learn from others in the metal finishing industry. Our internal systems meet best practices and help us manage and mitigate risks effectively. We also have the testing capabilities necessary to validate both processes and products.
The LMC team believes in developing long-term partnerships with our customers, and we know that any lapse in maintaining certifications or compliance could lead to a supply interruption. We want our customers to know that we will continue to hold ourselves in excellent standing with all of the relevant authorities to provide an uninterrupted flow of product and quality
metal finishing services.
Maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 and NADCAP AC7108 and AC7004 certifications requires us to document, audit, and improve the procedures we follow. In our facility, all chemicals are clearly identified, testing validates compliance with specifications, contracts are reviewed, risks are assessed and controlled, and data is gathered to support plan-do-check-act (PDCA)-driven improvement.
We are committed to complying with and exceeding all environmental regulations that govern the chemicals and processes we use. We manage water consumption and wastewater carefully (which supports the attainment of our KPIs) and work closely with Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). This includes completing regular DEEP reports and audits to ensure we remain compliant with current laws.
Our highest priority at LMC is the safety of our employees and anyone who visits our facility. To achieve this, we expect compliance with our rigorous safety protocols. LMC’s safety approach starts by identifying risks and putting appropriate mitigation measures in place. We also work to meet all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, provide regular employee safety training, and treat any incidents as opportunities to learn and improve.
In addition to safety, environmental, and quality regulations, we also strive to consistently comply with industry-related laws that pertain to our clients. This includes compliance with ITAR regulations, ATF regulations, and more.
